We manage University events for publicity purposes, service and achievement recognition, disseminating information and assisting the University in enhancing its image and reputation. The University hosts or participates in many special events each year: campus visitation programmes, public lectures and seminars, symposia, sports events, anniversaries, award presentations, ceremonies, festivals and others. Where appropriate, the Event Management Team offers advice on ways to maximise your event opportunities. We also offer advice from choosing university venues; suppliers; planning and preparation; guest lists, protocols and expected etiquette.
Corporate Branding & Communication
The Branding and Corporate Communication unit is responsible for internal and external
communication with stakeholders in support of the University’s branding of becoming a
world-class teaching and research tertiary institution.
The unit is responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive and integrated strategic
marketing communications programme that includes advertising, event -management, internal
communication strategies, media liaison, production of promotional materials and
university-wide publications and stakeholder relationship management.
