UTM Corporate Affairs corporate comm unit works with local, regional and national media to secure coverage for the University. Through well-built relationships with faculty and staff, stories are identified and developed about academic programs, research initiatives, faculty accomplishments, general higher education topics and student life issues. Through the distribution of news releases, pitching and placing stories, arranging media visits and other forms of formal communication, this function seeks opportunities to position the university to expose and present the university experts, events, news and good names.
